come to the window and stare through the glass your world is turning through your hands it will pass counting the minutes which slide down the wall hearing the voices which crawl up the hall and your day breaks in silence as you wonder what for i don't understand who you're waiting for where are you going to and far in the distance the myna bird sings your hopes in the cellar and what will tomorrow bring hearing the rain as it pounds at your door wondering how many times you must suffer still you go on for more then fall to the floor i don't understand who you're waiting for where are you going to i don't understand where your vision lies who'll point you to the sky and now that you've met them who lies in your grave who tells you these secrets and now will you behave but somewhere a light burns a hole in the sky somewhere your reason is thrown to the shadows and you start to cry and wonder why

The Moffs were a psychedelic rock band from Sydney from 1984-1989. They are perhaps best known for their 1985 song Another Day In The Sun.
